Country Barn Antiques is a place you have to see to believe. This is truly a barn filled to the rafters with stuff!

When I say it has everything, it really does has EVERYTHING! For this flea market junky, I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of treasures that were stacked upon each other.

It is a collector's paradise.

You go upstairs and upstairs and the place goes on forever! Until...

As soon as I saw that skeleton hidden away up at the ceiling of the barn, I knew immediately it was human. A creepy feeling came over me. I knew it was real. Sure enough the owner confirmed it is the skeleton of a man from India. Holy crap!!!

I did almost come home with this magickal treasure but the inside was complete corroded and in horrible shape so I left it alone for someone less picky than me. Hard to imagine that in this giant store I found nothing I wanted to buy but as I have always said, I am actually not really into stuff. I love looking and if something speaks to me I will listen but nothing came home with me on this day. Still, I would love to go back and go treasure hunting once again.

I love to just look at stuff too. No need to purchase or possess it to enjoy it. Just looking is pleasure enough!
Love your pictures, especially what you did to the first one. It was sort of like visiting the "fun house" at the fair, not knowing what was around the next corner.
The experience is priceless, it's true Debra! And boy did I drink it in, I loved every second of it. Well not getting bitten by a mosquito but still.
Thanks Shelagh! It is a wild experience, thank you for introducing me to it. I will never forget it.
I want to go to that store! I'd spend hours looking too - how could you not?
I love to browse such places but hardly ever purchase unless something speaks to me and says, "take me, I'm yours". We have a similar barn outside our town. The owners have had to build another barn to store all things kid--comic books, baseball cards and things to that affect. Thanks for sharing. Angie
