This week for The Happy Book I would like to focus on looking forward to my husband coming home. He is the guy carrying my camera bag sporting a Tilley hat. This is the last photograph I took of my husband before he went away for six weeks on a trip for work. We went to Schubenacadie Wildlife Park with our fabulous friends and you can see them all searching and searching for a moose.
The latter half of the summer without my husband here has been more than challenging. Normally I am OK on my own for a while but not this time. Everything has been hard and I have spent many days, especially this week thanks to the death of my little camera, in bed with the covers over my head.
Now I am a big time feminist. It is not that I am in a co-dependent relationship or that I need a man to make me whole. But I am spiritual and quite honestly, my husband is my soul mate. He is my partner and love of my life. He is my fellow adventurer, my best friend and definitely my better half. A beacon of light, a kind and just warrior spirit, he means the world to me.
He is almost back home. Just a little while longer now. Which means my life will turn upside down and be crazy and you know what I say? Bring it!

How wonderful that you have found your soulmate. It is not fun when our loved ones are away for an extended time but it is always great when they come home. Have a happy week.
Hope the time goes by quickly for you.
It's so tough missing someone, especially when you're the one left at home. So glad he'll be home soon - bet you're gonna cook him some real treats!!
I'm so glad he's going to be home soon! Here's to celebrating your honey, your love and time together! Happy indeed!
I bet he'll be glad to get home to you too!
I know you will enjoy this much anticipated homecoming!
Aww, come home Suzie's hubby! I'm glad you will be together again soon.
Very happy for you that your honey will be home soon. I'm sure you'll be cooking up some magic together!
So glad he'll be home with you soon. And I think you managed to cover several of this week's words in your photo - heart and home (as represented by your hubby) and circle (as in, he's coming full circle back to you). Hang in there just a little longer!!
What great news! That is a long time to be separated! Here's to a joyous reunion!
Wishing you well until his return. I have an award for you over at my blog if you would like it. Maybe it will get you out from underneath those covers, if only for a moments time. Blessings To You....Angie(onreeone)
Six weeks is a long time.
I would consider myself a feminist too but after two weeks I miss my darling so very much!
So have a great time together!
In a way it's the best of both worlds. Time to yourself to meditate, write or do whatever, PLUS absence makes the heart grow fonder. You get those wonderful reunions.
That is HAPPY in my book.
love this post.....must be nice to have that in a relationship!
