Wishcasting: What do you wish for less of?

RIP Sony Cybershot

I wish that Mercury retrograde would stop messing around with my life. Fine, throw my shoulder out of joint and leave half my body paralyzed with pain. Kick me in the kidneys so I have to curl up in the fetal position for hours. But don't hurt with my cameras! I want less electrical drama.

During Hurricane Earl my camera started acting weird. I was hoping that once the storm had passed, the ions would leave my camera alone. Yeah right. I keep getting error messages, sometimes it won't turn on, when it does turn on the lens doesn't come out... I have seen this all before over a year ago with my original Cybershot. It was like losing a friend. I was heartbroken and sick inside. Jamie came to my rescue by sending me her old Cybershot which was exactly the same and I have been using it happily on my walks and in my kitchen ever since.

I originally tried to replace it with a newer version but seriously, it just didn't work. My kitchen has zero light and this seems to be the only camera that can handle it. Even my Canon Rebel has a hard time in my kitchen and when it comes to outdoor shot there is no way in hell I feel safe in my neighbourhood carrying around my Rebel.

I ordered a Fujifilm Finepix camera thanks to a referral from my friend Michelle who is a professional wedding photographer. I chose it because it is specifically designed to take great photographs in low light settings. But I am having serious anxiety about it. I shouldn't be spending that kind of money, especially when I seem to be cursed lately. I just don't know what to do.

So does this mean I should throw in the blogging towel or does it mean I step up my game? I don't know. I just don't know.

What I do know is I want:
less health drama, less pain, less disappointment and less bad luck

Wishcasting has helped me believe we can change our energy, change our luck, change the outcome. Wishcasting is magic in numbers and is super powerful. It has helped me feel less alone in my frustrations and personal darkness. I love all you fabulous wishers!

As you wish for yourself, Suzie, I wish for you as well!

Mercury turns direct in a few days. You might still be experiencing some of the energy of that Grand Cross as well! Hold on tight - Relief is coming!

Suzie, I sympathize. I'm so exhausted from all of the things I've had to deal with. The Twit being retrograde hasn't helped anyone, especially when he seems to have outdone himself in the "difficult" (ha, euphemism) category this cycle. Add to that the fact that all of the outer planets except for Saturn are retrograde and it's a wonder we haven't had a collective meltdown.

Today's the new moon. That has to amplify the power of your wish. And The Twit turns direct Sunday. Don't throw in the towel! I, and so many others, believe in you!

As Suzie wishes for herself, so I lovingly and wholeheartedly wish for her also.

As you wish for this, Suzie, I too wish for it for you.

You are fabulous! This is the time to sit back and relax. Mercury only has another 4 days then it returns to direct. Relax till then. REST. Get better.

Stop having anxiety about the camera. Life can't be all penny pinching. You need to enjoy what you can in your life instead of always putting it on hold due to $$. What's the point of living if you can't do what you love? You already have enough traumas with your body and your Nova Scotia situation. Are you going to give up your passion and just surround yourself with the things you can't change?

You can change your camera situation. You will continue being awesome with your photos and your blog.

Suzie, you deserve happiness. And you can't stress over it. You are far more important than the crap that's happening around you/to you. Don't let it overpower you. When you look back on this years from now when you're in Vancouver and things are better you will realize how important it was to let go of the money issue if only for a moment and just be kind to yourself.

If a new camera can do that, all the more power to you.

Love you.

Please don't throw in the towel and stop taking pictures. Your pictures and blog mean so much to so many and I think they are very important to you. As Suzie wishes for herself, I wish for her as well.
There is power in numbers and I know you have lots and lots of people sending only good wishes to you today and everyday.

Can relate to what seems to be going all wrong, and definately seeming to deal with all the bad luck at one time, especially as a photographer myself. May everything turn around soon!

The weather has been horrible this year for anyone who suffers from joint pain.It has been a difficult summer. I have no idea what to do about your camera as I am not in the the know about cameras or Mercury retrograde. I do have a lovely sprite/spirit nudging me awake in the wee hours tho & interfering with phone conversations with my mom.Of course IDK how to communicate. I do know that adore you AND it's not the 1st time I have heard or seen the "F" word:) Hoping things get much better & soon!

Yuck. I feel your frustration. It seems like our cameras always have a two year life before they start to fizzle out on us.
