Happy Halloween 2010!

Happy Halloween 2010 Happy Halloween 2010

What a phenomenal Halloween we had! Yes, it did rain later at night but we actually got more trick or treaters than we have in the years passed which is good because we had a lot of candy. Above on the left you see my husband's jack-o-lantern and on the right is our friend Mike's fantastic jack-o-lantern too!

My husband experimented yet again this year and wanted to give the jack-o-lantern white teeth by carving off the skin. He also gave it beady leering eyes. So fantastic! I cleaned the pumpkin out BTW so I did participate a little.

Because of the threat of rain we moved our graveyard right into the garden which actually ended up perfect!

There was a new arm in the mailbox visiting this Halloween. Doesn't it look real?!!!

Lots of little decorative touches were everywhere inside because of the threat of bad weather.

Happy Halloween 2010

We had a great time talking and eating (go to my foodie blog to check out the food) and it was comforting to bring out the classic decorations I love so much.

This morning I woke up and got the cauldron out for the big tarot card reading giveaway...

Contest Winner!

Congratulations Sandy! You won! I will be talking to the Universe about your past relationship for you very, very soon.

When I got up this morning I noticed that instead of warm golden light there were cool tones filling the sky. Most of the leaves have disappeared. November is definitely here. I am dedicating this entire month to dramatic self-care. I received a sign from the Universe that I have been treading a dangerous path and must take better care of myself. I pulled the Five of Swords last night which forecasted struggle ahead. Every November since I moved here I have gotten sick and I am determined to keep myself as healthy as I can.

What is your focus for winter this year?

My focus for Winter is taking care of ME! I usually put everyone else's needs ahead of my own & that's not always a good thing....

Boho Mom, missed you so much! Hope you had a great Halloween and yes, self-care is where I am at this month too. onelittlepagan, I have been blogging again for a while now, not focused so much on the sacred as I used to be but on getting through life right now, one day at a time. How are you?
