Trees are now totally bare, leaves stolen from the wild wind
In my astrologer Wendy Guy's newsletter she reminds us that we are going through a dark period through a dark astrological cycle. The moon is dark in an intense sign. This is not news to me. I had dream after dream last night, normally I do not dream at all. Fear, danger and darkness ran throughout my dreams.
We had a huge storm yesterday which is still raging today and the rains are supposed to last throughout next week. Already practically every single tree is now suddenly bald. The wind ripped off every single leaf from my once-full magnolia tree overnight. Autumn is now dead. The good news? It is rain instead of snow. I will take it, thank you.
Nova Scotia takes dark and dreary to a whole new level. It wears down on my soul. So today I will light candles and do a completely cleansing of my house. Nothing fancy. Just go through with candlelight, maybe some sage and clear the energy in the air. Take my broom and sweep the bad energy outside the house.
I can live in the dark as long as there is some light to keep me company.

Great photo -- the crows make it especially atmospheric.
I can feel the spooky big time. This is the darkest time of the year to me.
I did a small cleaning to get rid of negative energy in my home. Not as intense as I like to. I may do another one when the moon goes back into waning phase.
