I wish to stop feeling like everything in my house is on the verge of breaking! I wish for my home to be blessed, not cursed.
In the last year my blender, breadmaker and toaster croaked and last night the neck pin of my Kitchenaid mixer fell out and no matter what I do, I can not get it back in. I was on the phone for hours last night with tech support. Hopefully when my husband comes home he can fix it, if not, I don't know what I am going to do.
Back when Rebel was all new! I need her to heal!
I need my home to be my sanctuary where things are OK.
Going to go hibernate now and try not to cry. Was up at 5 am this morning obsessing about my mixer named Rebel. Maybe she is rebelling against me? I need to make friends with her ASAP.

Ouch Suzie, so sorry to hear that Rebel's not well. My "Sally" is rooting for her to get better and sending wishes for a speedy recovery.
When things break in our home (trust me, you're not alone in this department) we often find that YouTube has quite a few helpful do-it-yourself fixes posted. If you guys are handy this might help. We were able to save hundreds of $$$ fixing our PS3 gaming system thanks to some awesome tutorials/videos we found. Hopefully it's just a small fix and she'll be up and running in no time. Check out YouTube, I'm sure there's something there for you, they seem to have a solution for just about everything:)

Going to see if Reg can fix it when he gets home but I have a feeling we're taking it to the repair shop. Ava, great idea and I checked but there is no tutorial on this issue on Youtube which is kind of bizarre. Thanks for the support from you and Sally!

If it helps, our house seems to go in phases. We went through a time at the end of last year when everything was going--big repairs, lots of money, one thing after another. Our septic tank needed pumped, something was wrong with both toilets, our refrigerator died, and many other things like this too. It felt like the whole house was falling apart. I would tell people and they told me that sometimes this happens with home maintenance and it seems to be all at once...
Sure enough, things are better now.
