Ugh! The last few days have been miserable. Absolutely miserable! Two days of snow in April? My Asian money tree did well this winter and is handling its sixth month of winter in Nova Scotia much better than I am.

The painters came and went in a day and a half and were amazing! Check out my before and after photos here. Having professionals come in and do the work went really well but of course you are left with the aftermath:

It has taken me days to transport most of this kitchen stuff back into my kitchen. I am not the most organized person in the world but mess like this really stresses me out. Thankfully my crafts room is almost back to normal...

... But our little reading room still kind of looks like this. You have to let the paint dry for days before putting up the art so we are waiting. Still, we have to get everything back together again because Jamie is going to be here soon!
I will be restarting my scrapbook soon too and how cool is it that the next phase of our life in Vancouver includes a visit by... you guessed it! Jamie!
I am thrilled our house feels so much better now. It feels weird to make it more our home when our hearts are still out west but you can not live completely in the past. You have to make the present as comfortable as possible, which would be a heck of a lot easier if it would finally stopped snowing.

How fun to have Jamie come to visit.
Yes we have to learn to live right now. It's really the only time we have.
Love
Spring nesting! I love it! Best wishes in your decorating adventure. I can't wait to see what comes next. :)
Much Joy~*
