The wind has been whipping Oliver the Owl around, freaking me out. Every time I look through the window he is looking somewhere else. It doesn't appear to upset this little robin though.
For two days now we have had robins fluttering up against our windows. This Beltane morning he woke me up by coming to our bedroom window. Here he has been trying to get through our kitchen window. I much prefer this than the woodpecker attacking our room.
This is the most attention from Nature I have gotten since I moved to the east coast. Perhaps she is trying to tell me something? That there is a reason, a message for me? To not lose hope? That she still sees me? I am listening nature, I hear you. And, thank you. It is nice to know I still exist.

Wow! That is amazing! The birds are just starting in Pictou County. They don't come too close because of the neighbors cats though. Believe it or not the crickets have been out in full force the last few days!
Crazy isn't it Tracy? You would think Oscar would scare away the birds but real cats are much bigger issues for birds. Wow, crickets are singing already? Nice!
I have heard many robins singing for over a week now, but I have still not actually seen one. Perhaps today? Beltane blessings to you, Suzie!
Suzie, We had a robin try to get through a window. It was only one and it was every single morning for hours. We finally put up a nail strip along the window sill. The robin came back one more time and then left, so far never to return. We tried other things before the nail strip but it was the only thing that worked. I'm sure it didn't hurt the robin, just made it uncomfortable so that it spent its life doing something happier than pecking at the window desperately trying to get in all day. Peace, love, many blessings, xoO
I don't believe the robin is to concern about your owl.
This year we have some interesting birds that is hanging around. I think it due to the blue bird houses we hung.
Happy Beltane
