Blogging gal pal Molly from Her Speak has been sharing music videos by kick ass women on her blog which I *heart*. It inspired me to go looking for this video inspired by Pink's Funhouse CD
I love obnoxious, edgy and tough women who can also laugh at themselves. There are so few of them in the media these days which makes me weep. I miss the days of Lilith Fair and Alanis' Jagged Little Pill. Yeah, it dates me but as Pink says, so what?!
So I listen to Funhouse and dance around my basement, not caring what I look like. If you think I only do that because no one is there to see, you never saw me dancing in the corner by myself at high school dances. I just don't fucking care. I love dancing and I live like no one is watching 24/7.
So, so what?
I’m still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And I don’t need you

AND I just heard on Entertainment Tonight that she and her husband had a baby girl yesterday.
I got the Greatest hits cd in the car and the three of us sing when I get the kids back from school. :D
It´s been great to hear Tati´s English progress these months. :)
Woot! I know where my daughter gets her rock star attitude from; I saw PINK in concert when I was pregnant with her. I think she absorbed her energy in utero lol.
I love this video/song. It's just full of bad ass energy, impossible to sit still while listening to this.
I love Raise your Glass... it always makes me feel powerful and inspired.
That is one awesome woman!!!!
Yep I'm lovin' PINK!
I completely agree! I love P!nk too. Thank you to Nolwenn for reminding me of her music. Have you watched that Glitter in the Air performance of hers from the Grammy awards?
