We have a weekend of rain coming starting tonight and I just took these photographs of our roof. They just left for lunch and so much is still left to be done!!! This is the front of our house with the old roof.
They have managed to remove most of the shingles off the back of the house thank goodness.
The noise is unbelievable. I have a terrible headache that's threatening to morph into a migraine. Going to continue to lie down and just hope that they can get this down before the rain starts. If not, what happens?

We had to have ours done last summer. Nice to know that you will have a new dry sturdy roof overhead. Expensive but a good investment.
Don't worry, it will get done. I think ours was done all in one day or maybe 1 1/2 days. Getting the old shingles off takes the longest, the rest goes fast. If it rains, they just tarp it, not a problem.
So they did have to reshingle the whole roof, eh? Well, at least you won't need to get it done again for many, many years. In fact, you'll have sold the house and moved back to BC long before it needs reshingling again!
It is a good investment, it's true. It's brutal financially though and really is going to screw our summer. They're coming back on Monday to finish it. Seriously thinking of getting a condo next move. At least then other people will be chipping in to pay for a new roof!
