Thank you to all of you fabulous Wishcasters out there!

Teen Eagle in Nest

This is the first time I successfully photographed an osprey (a teen one by the looks of it) from the car on our way to Walmart. Yes, Walmart!

I was so excited the first time I discovered this eagle's nest within the urban landscape of where we live. It gave me hope. And then, change came. It came people!!!

I wanted to write and say thank you to all you Wishcasting wishers out there. Even though Reg had to cut our vacation short because of work, we finally have some momentum in our lives. Something actually happened! And we are one step closer to going home. A small step but not an insignificant one.

And before summer's end! Thank you all so much!

OMG, I can breathe again. Energy is starting to move. We have taken a bit of a step away from the giant black hole of unchangeability.

My body broke down over the last few days, the stress has been almost unbearable. Today I am having a little less pain and feel even a tad hopeful. Life is going to be extra challenging for me but it is worth it if it means big change will eventually be coming our way.

It's so good to hear you so hopeful and happy and excited! And I do believe that seeing the eagle was a message for you - after all, aren't eagles a powerful symbol of freedom? Yay!!!

I am so filled with hope and awe tonight, as I've come across several bloggers who've mentioned having their wishes come to fruition through their participation in Wishcasting Wednesday! There's real magic in it!

Thank you so much Olivia! I really appreciate that.

Dream Wish Fishes, that is so exciting! So glad others are feeling their wishes stirring and coming true. That is beautiful.

Amy, I believe it was a teenager eagle actually. I think osprey need to live closer to the ocean.

Hi all,

Quick note...great photo and not to be a know it all but Amy, you were right...the bird in the photo is an osprey...while you will see eagles here, they are more prevalent on the west coast, funny enough though ospreys are sometimes referred to as fish eagles, not to be confused with sea eagles...great pic though!! cheers

We saw the guy yesterday again and you're right, I think it IS an osprey so I updated the post and the photo, thank you for that. I never heard it make that distinctive cry like I used to hear from the osprey out west and am shocked it wants to live this far from the ocean. But then, I am here too, LOL.
